Gugulethu Mbatha (better known as Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British actor and film actress who became famous for her role in the BBC show "Doctor Who", which is a British science-fiction TV series. Gugu's part in the show as Tish Jones was very popular. Tish Jones is the younger sister of Martha Jones. Gugu had a bright and vivacious personality, which was loved by the public. Handler was obliged to be an actress in order to make ends meet. Handler started doing stand-up as a full-time comedian when she was 21. She realized she is gifted at story telling. Handler made her debut on the Oxygen Network's Girls Behaving Badly which was a reality program with the use of a hidden camera/practical comedy. The show was on the air from 2002 until 2005. The handler started appearing on various other programs such like Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler began working as a correspondent on The Tonight Show as a reporter. Handler's big break came in 2006, after she started hosting her own show on E! called The Chelsea Handler show. The Chelsea Handler Show lasted two years. Handler later performed in the US in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. Stand-up comedy performances from Handler have been broadcast by VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend as well as HBO.
